One of the hardest parts about running for office is asking for donations in these tough times.
But as a working-class candidate running in Missouri’s 8th District, I’m doing this the hard way: taking time off work and burning fuel on 3+ hour drives (one way) just to meet you.
With disappointments on the left and right of politics, would you prefer candidates be candid about their pasts up front? Would you better trust your candidates decisions and motives?

My paternal grandfather had complications due to colorectal cancer.
A childhood friend suffered childhood leukemia multiple times. At ~40 he has severe side effects from treatment.
Just weeks ago, an IBEW friend’s child went through childhood leukemia treatment.
