Oh no, I 100% get you. I think if that's the approach you have then you shouldn't have to worry about playing other ones. Maybe if you are really uncertain you can fire one or two up, but from how you described it, you are more focused on the individual games rather than the broader genre.

I mean, even as someone who generally avoids arena fighters, I still think that you are capable of making a video about them even if you've only ever really played one so long as you know what you're talking about.

Suppose I'll wait and see what the starter guide has to say and see it it (de)confirms anything I'm still wondering about Jam. These CPU GameSpot battles only tell us so much and leave a lot to be desired in terms of how these characters are actually gonna pan out.

I can see myself maining Jam on release, as even though I'm a devoted ABA main, Jam has been my go-to in Xrd since last year, and I think what she's doing here is definitely how I'd want her to play in Strive. Usagi is a nice touch too, kinda doing an Oro SFV thing with the turtle.
