You should! It's a fun exercise. There's not much to it, and we've shared all our secret sauce a number of times (in blogs & github)

It's nice seeing a bunch of familiar faces!
JUST FUCKING USE TAILSCALE STOP FUCKING AROUND. CONNECT ANYWHERE. (with AI slop image of big explosions and laptops and phones and routers and such)
Apparently somebody just built us a new marketing site... 🙏

graffiti ad for dry cleaning place: "Can AI do Laundry & Dry Cleaning?" "No, but we can!"
Rick & Morty robot purpose pass the butter meme, but with the robot being Claude Code and doing menial work of resolving git merge conflicts
I programmed in BASIC when ~6yo.
Then we got Turbo C and my dad explained high-level vs low-level languages. With Turbo C I could read the mouse!
I'd asked if there was a language where I could just "make an elephant walk across the screen". He said ~"naah, sorry, not that high"
But there is now!
Me: "so how old are your kids?”
Random mom from park: “3, 6, 9”
Me: “damn you fine”
The mom: <stares at me>
Me: (oh no)
Mom: “ha, I had almost forgotten that song!"
Me: (phew)

did you already send the patches upstream to FreeBSD, btw?
I had pointed it at your repo when it said it had to use qemu. I was like "sure about that?" so it pressed on. I haven't found time to go over all the logs and figure out what its path was.
Mostly I was curious whether it could. We won't need it in prod for some months yet probably.
Seems to.
Before I went to bed, asked Claude to make FreeBSD work in CI.
Woke up to "then binary-patches the kernel to fix a TSC initialization panic on Intel CPUs. The upstream kernel only handles AMD under Firecracker; the patch changes one byte to redirect a tsc_disabled = 1 assignment to tsc_freq = 1.."🤯
"So I Got That Goin For Me Which Is Nice Meme" starting with "I helped Claude when it got stuck and it told me I was clever"
but do you yell "check it out"? :)

The nearly-3yo hasn't pooped in her diaper for a few weeks now 🤞
She even silently goes off on her own to poop unprompted and then yells out at us "CHECK IT OUT!" from the bathroom so then we all have to go check it out and celebrate.
(Minor thing to be optimistic about.)
Wanna file a bug on the open source issue tracker and I can help route it?
I also worked on defining WebFinger 😉
Claude code: "get in loser, we're going coding"
"Microchip technology in every towel!"
"do not obstruct advertisment" says sign, obstructed by a fence
thanks! <3
Just discovered I could use my Rivian's display as a second monitor for my laptop.
The car supports Chrome/Google Cast, so using Deskpad on macOS to make a virtual display and casting that virtual display, boom... two monitors in the car.

I wonder if I’ll ever stop being angry all of the time.
We’re living in the dystopian future of Running Man where public opinion is manipulated by doctored photos & video and false narratives.
I hate it here.
What I’m hoping for this evening is
1. some spectacular aurora from the big solar storm, and
2. the Cabinet invoking the 25th Amendment
So many people thought it was written in OCaml. And we got rejected by some free services for having "store" as a substring, since that set off some commercial alarms. sigh.
I really wish this delay had something to do with snow or weather. It would've been a cooler story than they had a leak in their potable water line.
oh hey, we're in the air finally after a 12.5 hour delay, much of that sitting in a broken plane before deplaning
