A 4-panel comic. My husband and I are waiting at the clinic because my throat hurts. A mother comes to sit beside me holding her young baby. The baby looks at me so I smile, but he immediately starts wailing.

For those who missed it: this was the moment The Strokes ensured they’ll never be invited back to Coachella again! I'm so proud of them

A 4-panel comic. I'm driving my car and my husband is with me. We're driving to the clinic because I did end up getting an appointment. After a pause, he suddenly says "................Happy anniversary", which we'd both forgotten. The last panel says "Today is also our 10th anniversary" and I look sad and tell him "Are you trying to make me feel bad"
(It's not really today, this comic is from Hourly Comic Day 2020 and follows last Friday's comic!)

A 4-panel comic. I'm going around leading a normal life-- buying groceries, working, cooking. A huge big black blob labeled "GRIEF" follows me around. In the last panel, Grief randomly punches me.
I didn't post about it here, but it's been a rough week. I'm in a choir since September, we were hard at work setting up a big show in June. Suddenly and unexpectedly, our choir director passed away last Tuesday. He was a brilliant mind and we're all in shock. I drew this because this is how I cope.

The choir's board decided that the show must go on and qualified people stepped up to take his place (despite having to grieve as well, being his long-time friends-- they're unbelievably strong). So I'm still headed to rehearsal today. It's a happy but bittersweet feeling.

I'm happy I joined the choir in time to get to know him, but I'm also gutted I only got to know him for such a short period of time. Infinitely blessed that he allowed me into his musical family, as I'd no previous musical knowledge & he had high standards.Still pinching myself that I get to do this

A 4-panel comic. I'm working on hourly comics. I hear people talking outside, through the closed window. As I walk to the window, I notice it's my neighbours, so I opened the window to greet them. But then I can clearly hear that they're fighting quite violently, so I quickly close the window and the drapes, thinking "Haha nevermind they're fighting whoops lol"
Awkward

A 2-panel comic, the first panel is titled "BREAK" and the other "TIME". My husband and I are having lunch each in our own room, he's in the dining room on his phone checking out the new Byte app, and I'm on my computer watching funny Sims streams.
A reminder that the comics I'm posting these days are from Hourly Comic Day 2020, so this explains why this comic is a sort of transition!

A 4-panel comic. I'm driving, and my husband is with me. I say "Ok, I'm turning the GPS on because I always miss this exit and we end up taking the toll bridge." The GPS says to Keep Left, so I do, but then I miss the exit I was talking about-- so I shout "WAIT WASN'T THAT THE EXIT" and then we're headed straight to the toll bridge.
It's a trap

A 4-panel comic. Our oldest daughter (6) had surgery on her thumbs three days ago. She was born with trigger thumbs, they couldn't fully extend. As I'm removing the bandages, she starts to scream. It's a minor procedure but it still required general anesthesia. It was a tough day. Today we can take her bandages off. As she screams the loudest, I apologize. In the end, she looks at her hands now bandage-free, and she says "Aww I kinda liked my bandages. I looked like a ninja."
I noticed she had a thumb problem when she learned what "thumbs up!" was and showed me two crooked little thumbs. Then her doctor didn't know what trigger thumbs were and I had to explain it to them.
