Evidently Archie Comics Sonic #113 is considered infamous. As the colorist on that issue, I actually agree. Back then I didn’t like the art so I did redos of the first three pages in hopes that I could draw it instead. They didn’t accept. Anyway here are my alternatives from a really long time ago.

Lastly some people have noticed some references, but I don’t think anyone has picked up most of the (intentionally very vague) stuff I put in the final panel. The shots of my iPad photo album show some of the other things I considered trying to work in but figured they’d be too obvious and rejected

The original 1992 SONIC mini-series is getting the full remaster and recolor treatment. Ethan has outdone himself in my opinion, but I welcome everyone's comments good, bad and/or indifferent.

Here are a couple pages I redrew and recolored last year. These were originally drawn by Art Mawhinney and colored by Barry Grossman.

For the past year, I’ve been studying art in my spare time. I took on a personal project of redrawing and recoloring a few Archie comic Sonic game adaptations, as both a fan passion project (I grew up learning to read from & falling in love with these stories) and as a way to grow my skills 1/2
