What do you do when you have writer's block, and don't know what to post about? How do you get inspired and find new ideas?

Squats is also a great idea. Any additional tips are welcome :)
I bought a resistance band (25 kgs) and I love it. I use it when doing pull-ups: I train to fatigue, then do a few more reps with the band, as it enables me to do the exercise in proper form. Game changer!
Are you using a resistance band?
How can you tell if an account is shadowbanned on X? Is that still a thing? 🤔
They say being a founder is lonely. But it doesn't have to be!
Find yourself a cofounder, or two. It's not easy, but having the right people together with you at the wheel can make your life much fun and easy, not to mention it could also improve the performance of your company.
I believe that writing for yourself and being good enough at it will become a competitive advantage. I wrote about why I think this:👇 andraskindler.com/blog/why-wri...
With AI becoming increasingly available and widely adopted for generating text including blog posts and articles, why would anyone in their right mind write themself instead, which is a fundamentally difficult and tedious process?
I love working from cafes as well, but I do need to be in the mood. Sometimes it is actually worse for focus for me. What about you?
I understand this perfectly. Having your own space outside of home can do wonders for productivity.
As a bootstrapped entrepreneur / indie hacker, do you have an office outside of your home?
Grok can now enhance posts on X/Twitter by proofreading, correcting grammar, and converting to one of 18 tones. This is web only, I could not find it in the iPhone app.
Our app Followergrow finally started to grow, and now it is in danger. 😐
Nice, looking forward to it!
Might be a bit longer, but I’d be interested in a deep dive into whether putting effort into X is still worth it as a small account 🤔
I love this, let’s go! I’d be interested in social media marketing tips for 2025, Yt shorts is perfect for this.
Now I'm back, without the goal of posting daily. 👋
4. Most importantly: it is OK to take a break from social media, even if my goal is to grow my account. Same as with a lot of things in life, balance is important to refresh, stay motivated, and potentially avoid burnout.
3. If you're serious about growth on a social media platform, it is useful to be up-to-date with the algorithm, as this can make or break your progress. For me, this only caused stress: at the end of the day, my goal is not to please an algorithm, but to build a network of likeminded folks.
2. If the goal is posting every day, having scheduled posts is a game changer if the goal is to post helpful content every day. But writing 7 days worth of posts was quite time-consuming for me.
1. Nobody cares about your posting streak but you, and it's easy to burn out. It is difficult to write a meaningful post every day, and posting just to maintain your streak is counterproductive, as it can result in low-quality content.
Reminder to self: it's OK to take a break from social media.
I was on a 4-month posting streak in early December, then took an unplanned 1-month break. Now I'm back, and this is what I've learned:
HBD to this snow-loving boi! 🥳
The Brew.dev office just got a bit cooler 😎
I have the exact same experience, although my follower count is much lower - 1.3k here vs 900 on X.
Lake #Balaton is beautiful in this foggy winter weather
Enjoy, and HNY!
Yes!
🥳 HNY friends! Wishing all the best for the new year: may you find PMF, have tons of viral posts, and a crazy MRR growth.
Looking forward to an epic 2025!
HNY Janu!
Plans for Q1 2025:
- Majority of our efforts will go into growing Brew: book projects for Q2-Q3, and potentially start to grow the team
- Quick wins for Followergrow: run marketing experiments, deliver 1 LHF feature per month
- Be more consistent in my writing and socials
LFG for an epic 2025!⚡️⚡️
2024 was awesome. Gyula, @zsedbal.bsky.social and I started working full-time together again on our next biz after the Makery.co exit. We started 4 projects:
- two failed
- one is growing slowly (Followergrow.com)
- one is doing great (Brew.dev)
I also restarted my personal site (andraskindler.com)
