I'm astonished the Democrats took defeat lying down. There seemed to be so many dodgy practices going on around the election. But none were even questioned. The Dems need to toughen up before the next election, or President Musk and his tea boy Trump will walk all over them again.

A sad state of affairs. How one man get away with multiple crimes is beyond me. I suspect he'll go on to remake the criminal justice system in his name. Good luck with your shiny new Dictator folks.

Sorry for the late reply. Yep it's sort of distressing and cathartic at the same time!! But with no kids, some poor person, likely my sister, is going to have to go through our rubbish at some point. So we're making a start at chucking it away now. Charity shops are doing well out of us.

Welcoming myself back to Bluesky I hope I can find all my friends on this platform. I know loads have migrated over from Mordor. Hopefully we can all ignore all things he who must not be named on here. It's going to be a long 4 years.

Lowering skies. A day of gloom, reflecting the feeling across this entire country. The rain is lashing down as Autumn has arrived. It's going to be a few months now until I can take a pic like this one. Time to dig out the thermals, as we stave off switching the heating on until November if poss.
