Changeling is such a great system for storytelling about social issues, how they change us and what makes us truly human.
It also lets us play silly little guys with pretty magic powers and kiss frog princes until they're people again.
These are equally important

Firstly: what the fuck.
Secondly: as a parsley lover 120+ grams of parsley is insanity
Heart of the Empire is in many ways a love letter to my wife and her enjoyment of a particular period of time.
She does not like the two Regalia I made for the setting but you might like them!

Sandra Logunsly, the Queen of Summer in Heart of the Empire is not a queen of dalliances. She is, in fact, married and in a deeply commited relationship.
When asked for her husbands name she will often respond by tapping her crown and saying "Guess."
Sandra likes laconic humour.
In Heart of the Empire Vampires haven't been in London since the 1780s. Most people have ceased believing in Vampires within the city for that reason and even the mages of London are confused by why they don't exist within the city.
The Winter Court knows.
I'm firing up a Changeling the Lost game so I'm going to give random spoilers/commentary here.

I miss running games a lot. I really just want to run a year long bullshit game
Telling someone you want to trust them is scary. But with the right person it sets a tone of Prove yourself to both parties
Big learning from Zekey-boi is God's repeated desire that people would turn and have life with him.
Dunno what to do with it but there you go. Not being shy.
Today I did a different style of prayer, inspired by orthdox prayer styles. I recited the Lord's prayer, whilst making the sign of the cross, and then gave a little "have mercy on me, a sinner". Ezekiel has been on my mind recently so I continued my read through of that.
An infrequent spiritual practice of mine is to take a stick of ceder incense light it and pray.
In scripture ceders are often linked to the heights of Lebanon and bring a sense of spiritual strength, and majesty. Seems fitting when I'm trying to get in connection with God.
Hey if you're a decent DM, you're alarmingly well skilled for all other leadership roles.
I have routinely used more DM skills in leadership than I have in any other arena. It's a lot of fun to ask people at a decision making table "how do you want to do this" and their eyes light up
Day 2 without coffee for lent (stimu-lent?) and I can feel the scatter brainedness and distraction intensely.
But hey here's a fun thing I do when I can, I write little TTRPGs.
Here's one I'm proud of and you may enjoy.

Second is shyness. I have a preference for hiding some of the stuff I do, think and believe unless it triggers the correct brain worms. So for Lent I'm trying to release that a bit and actually say some of the stuff I believe, the things I've made, and probably start a few arguments.
The First is coffee. It's a luxury item, much like chocolate that as humans we're slowly driving to extinction. I'm very greatful for the energy bean soup, but through Lent it's a time to dial back and actually just be human rather than caffine powered me.
Lent starts on Wednesday and is the period of Fasting until the time of Easter. For my Lent I'm going to be fasting from a couple of things:
Kermit the frog sitting on a log surrounded by flowers Text: "what radicalised you?" empathy bro, literally just wanting people to be treated like human beings
Do not be concerned she is a sweet pea
She is my friend, we shall have soft tacos later
This is a hard to articulate, but: It's comforting to believe that the people who kidnap children and shoot moms in the face "aren't real humans." What makes it terrifying is that they ARE real humans. Human beings, like you and I, are capable of these things.
