Should Poland join the G20?
What I did hear was a story of a Polish student collecting discarded beer cans around Copenhagen to top up his modest income. Resourcefulness or recycling is a nice combo.
Just got back from a month in Denmark, where the pant system works like a charm: 93% return rate in 2024. People lugging empty bottles in bags, trolleys, and almost every food shop participates. Heard no complaints.
Poland rolls out its deposit-refund system for bottles and cans.
