One of my favorite winter photography moments happened here. I had dreamed of capturing this location for years, but I could never have imagined such a perfect scene! It was a brutally cold morning, but the hike in before sunrise was absolutely worth it!

This view stopped me in my tracks while on a hike in Sequoia National Park. A tough image to develop as I could just play and tweak it forever. I am still enjoying what comes of it.

Daydreaming about Colorado has been a regular occurrence since my first visit many years ago. It’s increased since my first fall peak visit this year. 🤩 I am currently toying with the idea of visiting during three different seasons next year… 😅

The best spots for viewing rhododendrons in the Asheville vicinity generally peak in bloom during the first week of June.

*Starting in early May, things turn green, and you can find many unique plants, mushrooms, and blossoms across the mountain's microclimates all spring and summer.
