A Spotify review to the podcast "The Book of Constellations". Ryan Godfrey: I am leaving this post simply because I can. Everyone’s opinions are their own and as a result of that we have diversity in the world! My question though is Why do we need to bring Trans and LBGT alphabet soup into everything? And before you judge me I discussed this episode with some gay friends of mine and they found it an unnecessary plight to gain more followers given the current movements being advertised today….. Forcing it into the spotlight takes away from the intimacy of being who you R The Book of Constellations: I wrote this story to talk about many injustices. I included a trans character because trans people are still facing oppression and hate 4 years after I wrote this. The US govt has gutted health care for them. Kansas just invalidated their driver's licenses. The White House calls them terrorists. They face assault, abuse, and discrimination for simply existing. One day I hope trans issues won't be controversial, but that is not today. I didn't force this issue into the story. I chose it.
