Not only did Trump kill Direct File, the IRS's free tax filing program, but this week, Republicans BLOCKED my bill that would make the program law of the land.
That's what you call selling out to TurboTax.

Trump’s war is making everything more expensive.
The costs of gas, groceries, and even mortgage rates are out of control.
Republicans promised lower costs and no new wars. It was all a lie.
The mayor did say he’s concerned with the reputation Surprise is receiving on a national and international level so keep yelling at em. The next council meeting is on April 7.

Mayor Sartor also says that DHS proposed a reimbursement for property tax loss and claims they will allow for site tours by local leadership. He says the Surprise city manager and Phoenix ICE field deputy director will be meeting over the next few weeks to discuss plans about the concentration camp.
Surprise Mayor Sartor says that DHS promised they will operate the concentration camp the size of seven football fields across from a school and neighborhood with “limited visibility in the community.” He also said “transportation will happen discreetly to minimize community impact and disruption.”
Mayor Sartor says that DHS/ICE officials told the council that the Surprise concentration camp is for single adults and estimated detentions will be 3-7 days before they are either deported or sent to a “mega site” in El Paso or Salt Lake City. He claims they will begin with ~250 detainees a week.
