Thank you once again for the kind words. It really is no time at all.

It's been a week since Berry's passing, and it's still hard. I miss having her on my glasses, her cuddling on my chest when I lie down for a break, and her asking for scritches at the most inopportune moments.

I really hate people sometimes.

I really should watch the last few shows I want, then cancel D+.

Is it time for me to start shipping paracetamol, I mean, mints to the USA?

Both! They each have their place.

Faxes really should die though. I'm very thankful I don't have to deal with them ever again for local context. Think the only international dealings where I may still have to use the damn fax are with USA and Japan.

He's such a baby! Still a baby. :P Cassie is very specific on her cuddles, haha.

I hope so too. Autumn is my favourite season!

Apologies if my next few posts are about Berry. The sudden and traumatic nature of her passing means she's still very much on my mind. Having trouble processing some of my emotions.

Before Berry, I didn't know such a small little bird could have so much love, to us, for us and from us. Thank you my little Berry B. I love you so much. If there is a rainbow bridge I'll see you again. 10/10

The vet thinks it could be due to heavy metal poisoning, since she had some puking episodes a few months before, and she was experiencing short bouts of sudden lameness in her legs. I didn't expect it'd end this way. I'm sorry I let you down, my little baby bird. 9/10

Ultimately though, she'd always come to us for cuddles and scritches. Sometimes she'll just cuddle next to your neck and get scritches for what seems like hours. 8/10

Then she'd have her fill and nap somewhere, sometimes not with us. 7/10

Unlike many lovebirds, Berry was never too noisy. Unless it was time to eat. Then she'd scream until she'd be brought to the kitchen for food. Here's her stealing some broccoli. 6/10

And some of you might have seen this already, but she also has this weird sleeping position. 5/10

While hanging out with us, she'd find the weirdest places to nap. Like on my hand while gaming. This is very inconvenient, little one. 4/10

She grew to like many of us, but her favourite perching spot was always on my glasses. 3/10

Berry was a rescue with another lovebird, Lemon, and didn't warm up to us initially, until Lemon, rejected by Berry numerous times, decided to escape. I still miss Lemon as well. Eventually she became trusting enough to step up on our fingers and hands. 2/10
