Amusing fact/minor annoyance of the day: words which are almost-identical with missing syllables in other languages!

For example:
French "authentification" → English "authentication"
"femininity" (en) → "féminité" (fr)

Also a good way to spot bilingual people (me) in the wild lol

Je sais pas trop comment ça arrive mais j'ai ceci qui s'affiche à droite

Si t'en veux un je considère que j'ai une dette d'un code envers toi ^^

So, people who post the same tweets to Bluesky and Twitter, are you using an external tool/API to automate that? Or are you just typing the same thing twice?
