One of the interesting things about the new behavior medication Coriander is on is that it comes in tiny granules in a capsule that must be carefully measured out for the right dose. She is willing to eat them in a little churu so they didn't seem to taste bad (unlike a lot of behavior meds)

This is a potentially huge benefit to many cat caregivers who may struggle to get medication into their cat!!!

Honestly, after that Trump post, I’m begging @nytimes.com, @apnews.com, @reuters.com, @washingtonpost.com, @npr.org and all of the other newspapers and media outlets to take this seriously. This is not normal and we need to stop pretending. This is a crisis.

Every part of the lily plant is deadly to cats - even drinking water that lilies were sitting in can kill them. Other popular spring flowers like tulips and daffodils can also make them very sick, but there are plenty of beautiful and safe alternatives.

This is an actual post. This is not funny. This is beyond desperate. This is a deeply unwell man who doesn’t belong anywhere near the levers of power. Every member of his cabinet and Congress is complicit in not demanding his removal now.

Coriander update: she's doing really well on her new medication (venlafaxine)!! On Prozac she really was sleeping a lot and not peeing enough and seemed a little "flat", but now she is doing all her "normal" behaviors and enjoying life.

100% unfortunately that is not an option for emergency care - who I think can be some of the worst when it comes to cat-friendy, fear free handling!
