Parking at Hays may be limited. Additional parking is available at the Mark Russell Recreational Center, 429 Taylor Road. Huntsville Transit will shuttle attendees to and from the Mark Russell Center and the Hays Nature Preserve. Signs will mark shuttle pickup and drop-off locations.

Tires are frequently discarded in the environment by individuals or companies trying to avoid small tire disposal fees (usually around $5 per tire). Tires have to be shredded at a special facility before going into a landfill, hence the disposal fee. tennesseeriver.org/blog/toxic-t...

The young man listened politely. Then bent down, picked up another starfish and threw it back into the sea, saving it. “It made a difference for that one!”
