If you stationed a lookout cat every 1000 ft in a grid pattern throughout the entire city, you could buy all of them $34 in cat food each day of the year.

Three screenshots from a Sabrina Carpenter video, one showing her holding a steering wheel and looking towards the passenger footwell, a second showing a large handbag with a green glow emanating from inside, and a third showing a hand reaching to close the bag. All three are in black and white except for the green glow.

I can't find anyone talking about Sabrina Carpenter's Coachella intro video featuring a cameo from the Loch-nar from the 1981 film Heavy Metal. WHAT.

I used AI. It worked. I hated it. I used Claude Code to build a tool I needed. It worked great, but I was miserable. I need to reckon with what it means.

also going to leave this here because…

“But how is a new developer meant to learn the rules if their day-to-day work is nothing but the babysitting of models? How will they gain the hard-won experience that allows a human in the loop to be a useful safeguard?”

Official Launch Trailer for The House of Hikmah | Arrives April 8th, 2026 YouTube video by Lunacy Studios

I've wished for Arab-made games about Arab mythology for so long, and despite assisting on the project I still can't believe there's one swinging for the fences this hard. House of Hikmah is something very needed in a time where the world would rather erase us.

I think the opposition party widely expected to make historic gains in the next election(s) has an obligation to explain how they'll stop this and prevent it from happening again or it's reasonable to conclude they don't plan on doing those things, which raises more uncomfortable questions

Trump administration orders dismantling of the U.S. Forest Service Late Tuesday afternoon, with the subtlety of a wrecking ball and the morality of a foreclosure notice, the Trump administration announced the most devastating attack on the U.S. Forest Service in the ...

Amidst everything else, the Trump regime has quietly killed off the U.S. Forest Service 🌲

“One hundred and ninety-three million acres of your national forests… just handed, on a silver platter, to the people who’ve spent their entire careers trying to destroy it.”

A digital illustration of the shrine to the fictional saint of journalists and dangerous truths, the Muckraker, from my D&D campaign. It is a stained glass window set into cracked red stone. The arched window shows a purpley-dark skinned woman looking up and swallowing a sword. One hand reaches up and gently holds the blade of the sword while her other hand touches her throat like you would if you found you couldn't speak. Her fingers and the cuffs of her sleeves are inkstained black. Impaled on the blade of the sword above her are two newspaper sheets, the same sheets can be seen in the stained glass behind her. They show headlines written in a fictional language telling the Muckraker's story of revealing dangerous truths and how it cost her her life. The sword is framed by a halo of green rays of light while the background of the window shows a desert city in front of a red wall, and purple mountains. Below the window in the stone the word "Muckraker" is carved in the same language.

D&D's so fun, y'all. Fun enough I end up drawing a stained glass window representing the fictional saint of journalists and dangerous truths who's honored in one of the cities in our campaign.

. . .I totally didn't create another new alphabet just to make newspaper sheets for it. Not at all >.>
