After Trump’s speech, Americans could be forgiven for being even more concerned now about the war in Iran than they were only a few days ago, @radiofreetom.bsky.social argues:

Trump says he doesn't care about Iran's enriched uranium or the strait of hormuz. this allows him to justify a humiliating defeat. If neither of those things matter we went to war for nothing. In fact we are worse off now.

The right wing used to have a stranglehold on traditionally American iconography. Now the flag and the Constitution are symbols for the left.
