I bought the Xocann "Quinn Lee" because it's a really nice Alpha Chun Li figure, if a pretty mid figure on its own. But looking at their next figure, Bullet Queen, I think I need two: one to be Cammy, and one on its own. Nice to see them grow a bit beyond mere knockoffs. 5ktoys.com/collections/...

I was just reading about MyHouse.wad to see if any more info about it had come to light since it released only to find out that The Most Mysterious Song On the Internet had been identified. Wow.

Buddy out here talking about how he's going to show us what Welles originally intended.

That is literally impossible. Even if you have a cut list, you don't have the actual actors doing actual scenes. You don't have what the director directed.

You have nothing but your own hubris.

Y'know, Dodger Stadium looks pretty nice.

Seeing all this discourse today makes me vaguely curious what kids are taught in school now. Like, I learned reading and math 40 years ago (and cursive, and geography, and art, and all kinds of stuff)... do they just do /more/ reading and math?

Two Women In Gold (1970) Two bored Montreal housewives (Monique Mercure & Louise Turcot), with inattentive husbands (Marcel Sabourin & Donald Pilon), and lots of time on their hands, amuse themselves by paying the local trade...

One of my favourite things about the 1970 Quebecois #film 'Deux femmes en or' is that they shot some of it at the Grey Cup game in 1969, forever immortalizing the classic CFL match-up of the Rough Riders vs the Roughriders. #movies letterboxd.com/film/two-wom...

This reminds me of how I learned that the pin on an average thumbtack is barely, microscopically, longer than the exact thickness of the sole+insole on a pair of Chucks.

I've been thinking about that "Would the Cybertruck make a good military vehicle?" article for the last day, mostly because I'm pretty sure that—of any vehicle being sold today—it would be the single worst choice for a military vehicle.

Watched the Dune Part Three teaser and was thinking back to the release of part one, when people new to the franchise were disappointed that Duncan Idaho died and they weren't going to get any more Jason Momoa.

Here's hoping we get adaptations of all six books.

I mean, I'm poor so I haven't left L in like 20 years. I think I could definitely do another one all expenses paid.

J does seem like a winner though.

Pity, I'm going to die falling from the throne, apparently.

I also got on an anti-liberals blocklist for having a blue circle in my bio. I also have a green one and an orange one. And then a link to my Letterboxd page.

Most blocklists seem to be created by un-fun goofballs is my point.

Yeah, I was going to say that I thought CD had high prices too, but I stopped buying stuff there in the 80s.

I am Canadian and I don't remember paying these prices. I've seen a flyer that has SNES NBA Jam TE for 90CAD. There is literally no way I paid that much for that game, and I pre-ordered it.

I was buying from some local indie store, too.
