His top and average speed have gone from like 90+ percentile to sub 50th percentile. Something’s clearly not right with him.

He was a top10 player heading into the all star break last year. It’s been less than a calendar year. He’s temperamental and struggles to find his game when he loses it.

He’s also clearly struggling with something physically and I don’t think the org is in the same page as him with it.

I don’t believe for a second they have a healthy dynamic in that room, and I’m not writing anyone off because that shit can derail great teams and great players imo.

It may well be a situation where it’s either or, and that doesn’t mean either isn’t worth having. But sometimes shit just don’t work

I would just say, personal beef is a vast oversimplification of what’s going on in that room imo. I don’t know all the details, but the Petey/Miller is a symptom of a fucked up room. Not a sole indictment of either, tho I know who I’m giving the boot if it comes to that.

100%, we’ve seen the impact guy like Schenn, Zadorov etc have had walking into that room. Theyre desperate for identity guys. They don’t need letters, but you need that foundation in your room.

You need guys who will fill that silence, and make sure guys are comfortable and accountable

There’s no push back, rent loudest guy in the room who goes unchallenged is the asshole, Kesler had Bieksa, that room had strong personalities to hold guys accountable and keep a lid on it. This room doesnt have it
