I'm not sure my French is good enough to understand the full subtleties of Libé's review of the Michael Jackson biopic

It has been about 16 years since Girl Talk's All Day was released. Surely there's been enough popular culture since then for him to do another one?

Do not watch Sesame Street on Tubi with the subtitles on 😭. I swear, I didn't edit or add anything. Is it hilarious? Yes, but also, they need to fix this immediately. Absolutely incomprehensible and bad

I chatted with Cuba's indie dev about making a game while his country seems to unravel.

My other example is quite niche. Keith Gordon, who played the son of Rodney Dangerfield in Back to School, directed Mother Night, which is based on my favourite Vonnegut book of the same name and is beautiful thing.

He also directed a load of Dexter.

Tangentially, I just like seeing actors writing and directing. Danny Strong went from Buffy to this career en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danny_S...

I wonder if there’s a word for “I have not been paying attention to anything, so I didn’t expect a new Squarepusher album.”

Because that just happened to me.

The new VERY hagriographic Michael Jackson biopic starring MJ's nephew is out at the end of the month. But back in 2004 an unauthorised and EQUALLY flattering biopic was made in Canada. Here is a clip and I promise you have NO idea where it's going. I haven't done a single edit here.

A set of screenshots from DEEP SPACE NINE. An old Klingon throws his arms around Dax and shouts "Curzon, my beloved old friend!"

Dax returns the hug and says "I'm Jadzia now."

The Klingon grabs her shoulders, smiles, and says "Jadzia, my beloved old friend!"

Star Trek figured this out thirty years ago. It's not hard. Even an old, drunk Klingon got it.

The Culture books are standalone, though part of an overall universe. The Player of Games is great, and Use of Weapons is my favourite book.

Recently, There Is No Antimemetics Division really impressed me.

I watched all of Patriot this week. The banality of spycraft made surreal, whimsical, and bleak, all at once.

Only two seaons, and it's extraordinary. Absolutely just watch it.

I bought my dad a new laptop, and those are a complete hellscape now. It took me four hours to strip as much of it out as I could, knowing they'll probably force it all back in with an update.

One of the businesses lost in the Glasgow Central fire yesterday was Union Street Tattoos, run by Fidjit. She does some really important stuff - I've followed her since she spoke out about abusers and rapists in the tattoo industry. She's set up a GoFundMe.
