I found this tree standing with its rock in Cannock Chase Forest. Lots of beautiful ancient oaks still hanging around there and summertime is really beautiful in England, it’s hard not to draw it

also like, reach out your peers. i feel like i used to see people whine about having to answer student emails, but theres nothing i love more than answering questions from newcomers/students.
go make them in whatever form you want. you'll definitely do it wrong and badly no matter what advice you take, but theres no such thing as wasted time when you're creating.

got about 70-ish pages left of this book to draw and im so...over it 🫠 each page feels monumentally hard, despite them being way easier technically than drawing the 50 horses and men in armour of previous pages.
