We're back from Vegas and Pro Tour Final Fantasy and @edgarmtg.bsky.social and I go over our prep and run with Edgar recording his best finish ever

Obv rooting for Drood today in the Top 8 of Pro Tour Final Fantasy, hope he wins his second PT 20 years later after our team win Atlanta

Pretty unlucky breakdown too, 9th, 10th and 11th were three more different archetypes

Ended up 9-7 despite running fairly well both days, but just struggled to stay focus. Thought our Domain list was good, now I have to make day two in the last PT of the year to make Worlds, kind of same spot as last year.

Beat Omni, lost g1 then drew the one of Elvish Archivist and Elesh Norn and the sideboard plan did work on g2/3 then lost a close one to Red, think I messed up a surveil decision in g1. 8-5 now

PT Final Fantasy update: went 3-2 in Standard yesterday and went 2-1 in draft again this morning with a really good UR deck so I'm 7-4 now. Could have played better and maybe won in 3 of my 4 losses. Magic is hard I guess.
