We've been busy in the dc gamejam 2026 - You can play the #cute results at imayazing.itch.io and even grab the assets for FREE! #indiedev #gamedev #pixelart #gameassets
We only had a week but please let us know what you think - should we polish this into a full game?
Really wanted to make these #indiedev #gamedev assets free too, imayazing.itch.io/avatars-pack-1 - but can you settle for the cost of a pint of beer? if not, there's a sale from tmr.
Gorgeous hand-drawn #pixelart #gameassets avatars for your rpgs or visual novels.

Thought I'd try releasing some FREE #indiedev #gamedev assets on imayazing.itch.io/garden-graph... .
Pretty plant #pixelart #gameassets for all your garden games.
Any suggestions for the next asset pack? What do YOU need most?
Hope your Tereniasday is going well!
Here's Terenia Everbright from Glitched Mirror. Redrawn so many times now as I tried to learn lighting on folds better.

OK, it's momosday today, so I've drawn Momo Ohana from Glitched Mirror for you to enjoy! #visualnovel #oc #art #GameArt #IndieGame
Super stoked to be back in business after a long absence!
Let's have an #visualnovel #oc today - it was a pleasure to draw this #art for a client. Give me a shout if you need any #GameArt for your #IndieGame :)
Sounds like a great idea for the community, please do add me too.
Good thinking!
That seems to be the general consensus, which is good news!
ty!
valid point yes, actually it's well past time I made some kinda vid for that, so adding it to the todo list :)
It's real time except when in combat - then more turn-based.
Feedback from elsewhere is suggesting the same as you tho - ppl wanna see the HP always
Let us know when you have it working? This is a great idea, I was about to set something up myself, but no point duplicating - let's have indiedevs work together!
There's a common scam on discord involving this - perhaps they're trying to migrate to bsky?
Awesome achievement from @claeysgames.bsky.social - go check out all the hard work and feel inspired for the day!
#solodev need more love when it comes to #indiegame - remember ALL that stuff is done by one person!
Actually got this from google this morning 🤦
👋always good to see more gamedevs!
Welcome to the bluesky :)
Sad to think that the things us #indiedev sometimes spend longest on in #gamedev are the same things the end player just takes for granted and never notices :)
You can now walk between rooms in Glitched Mirror, throw stuff on the floor and it will still be there when you come back later!
I have 251 instances of a variable to refactor rn, = lots of boring coding :(
So here's a scene from our last #indiedev #gamedev game when I tried testing particle effect collisions and accidentally created exploding popcorn instead.
is r/gaming that brutal then?
Super impressed to hear everyone's take on this - the games we make out of love or need, feel so impactful. Hope to see more of your game as it progresses!
I thought I was already aware of all the fantasy map generators out there - but Eric just brought my attention to a really interesting newcomer and it's free.
Great resource for #indiedev #gamedev - check it out!
Admittedly I had to look up hypercard to see what that was - now that's a really interesting project you have going there! Wishing you all the best with that - keep us posted with updates :)
It's a sad but true fact, yes. I like how you think - hope Super Flamingo Island does well too!
100% relate to this! That's p much where Glitched Mirror comes from too! Hope you find success
I'm immensely curious to know - how many #indiedev #solodev actually research their target audience *before* they start writing the game?
Or do y'all start by writing a game and then looking for an audience?
Who else does this?
You decide you're gonna spend the weekend doing something really productive, like coding your #indiedev game. But then you get distracted by making a pretty animation instead. It's a #gamedev thing fr.
Imma write some co... change the speed of the anim next..
Congrats man! And we'll look forward to seeing the content :)
A happy new year to all!
"Who are your target audience?"
As a #gamedev consultant, I frequently find myself having to ask this question and you'd be surprised how many #indiedev have no idea.
Make sure you know what your audience want - or how will you know when you've met the demands?
Yearly Reflection Time!
Time to wish #indiedev #gamedev a happy new year.
No matter what you achieved, take a moment to look back on it and appreciate the progress - it will motivate you for the coming year.
- clip from an old pixel art game I was making. Redrawing Nena atm for Glitched Mirror!
