Dug up my old GameBoy SP and my copy of Pokemon Silver and I'm having a wonderful. I forgot how much I loved the simplicity of the old Pokemon games. They have this nostalgic charm.

Irony culture is very much a result of the early 2000s internet's culture of trolling and shaming and 'anti-cringe'. You couldn't like something genuinely, because unhappy people would dogpile you to cover up their own unhappiness.

So 'liking X ironically' became this sad defense mechanism.

I added the sauteed tomatoes for some sweetness and a small knob of butter to the finishing step to give the sauce just a touch more creaminess.

If you don't like asparagus on its own, just puree the tips into the sauce as well. The taste will mellow out.

Cavatapi with an asparagus-lemon-parmigiano reggiano sauce, served with asparagus tips and sauteed grape tomatoes. A DELICIOUS way to get like...a pound of asparagus into you.

My absolute favorite sandwich! Prosciutto, goat cheese, arugula, apricot preserves, a drizzle of balsamic, on a pressed garlic ciabatta.

Delicious!!
