Freezing my ass off in Iceland but the scenery is spectacular. We also saw a rare Arctic fox on the drive back from the ice cave. He was too fast to get a picture.

Arrived safely in Amsterdam
Made it to Istanbul. As you can see by the flight map, we circled north around Iran. All is well. Our flight to Amsterdam leaves in about an hour.
Another new experience. Today I am flying from Hong Kong to Amsterdam and we connect through Istanbul Turkey.
If you draw straight line from HK to Istanbul it would go right through Iran.
I hope we don’t fly in a straight line to get there. I will let you know when I’m safe in Amsterdam.

RIP Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris was the real deal. He held black belts in karate, taekwondo, Tang Soo Do, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and judo. After serving in the United States Air Force, he won numerous martial arts championships and later founded his own discipline, Chun Kuk Do.
