I later got to pick up the new Escaflowne Memorial Blu-ray box, which was released around the same time as the new screenings. This version I believe, will only be available for a year, so I definitely wanted to snag it for the collection. Now we just need a vinyl of the incredible soundtrack.
Was so happy to finally see one of my favorite anime movies on the big screen in Japan, at a Bandai revival screening. The sound and animation hit completely different in a theater. It was everything I wanted and more. They even gave out cute cards for this screening.

A reminder to my fellow fats, since vaccine season has begun: you can & SHOULD request a longer needle for your shots. Shorter needles may not reach past your upper fat layers, making them less effective (AND your arm more sore). So talk to your doc when you get your shots!! It can really help.
