For too long, bureaucracy kept 7 child care centers across our city empty — spaces that should have been alive with laughter instead collected dust.
We've run through that red tape. This fall, all 7 will open their doors, bringing an additional 240 free 3-K seats & real relief to working families.

Hi! Thank you for the kind thoughts. I treated it with radiation instead of surgery and had some issues with radiation side effects.
I don't regret going that route but after effects down the road are kind of rough, although he may not experience any. It's kind of a crap shoot.

Oh anemia and internal blood loss, you really are looking to take me out. Had a pint of packed red blood cells last Friday and my levels barely rose. Probably need another pint next week for and 6 to 8 iron boosts over the next month.
I beat cancer, but the after effects of treatment are a bitch.
One of my greatest pleasures is getting up just before dawn in the spring to listen to the birds wake up. Such a lovely wall of sound.
