He even followed up with arguments about men getting the right to choose if they want the baby, completely missing several points previously about risks to women's health longterm.
Screenshot of social media conversation section 1 of 3 Timothy Horder (Original Poster name redacted), so should vou be having risky sex then? Name of Woman Responding redacted Timothy Horder WTF does his post have to do with "risky sex"? 48% of people who receive abortion care are married or living with a partner 59% of people who receive abortion care alreadv have at east one child Only 12% of people who receive abortion care are under the age of 20. Fewer than 4% are younger than 18 There are varying reports on the percent of abortions that are due to contraception . . . Continued on net inage
Continued from section 1, section 2 of e . . . are younger tnan 18 There are varying reports on the percent of abortions that are due to contraception failure, however, it is typically higher than it should be and it typically fails due to improper use, which is why multiple methods are recommended Regardless, the issue is NOT "risky sex." If vou had anv knowledge on the matter and actually viewed women as human beings instead of incubators, you might be aware of this. Timothy Horder (Woman Responder's name redacted)- its amazing how you can say all that shit but the main thing you are implying is . . . Continued in next section
Section 3 of 3 continued from section 2 . . . main thing you are implying Is women aren't smart enough to understand consequences of sex. Thats a wild stance you are taking Woman Responder's name redacted Timothy Horder So, what I'm hearing, here, Timothy, is that even if we're in a long-term committed relationship, you believe that if we don't want children, the answer is to just not have sex. Make sure to share that with the group over on the Manosphere, okay Timothy. Pottymouthpollvanna We have our very own Manosphere representative saying that it's okay for us to say no as much as we like if we don't want to get pregnant! Make sure to share this one!!! End of screen shots
This was a perfect example of the complete lack of rational thinking in many individuals. It's a conversation on the topic of abortion and this right "genius" thought blaming women for soul responsibility of unwanted pregnancy.
Let's be honest here, though. Going electric is a privilege that those living in poverty or working low-wage jobs don't have access to.
It's Friday the 13th. So far my day has been objectionably boring and normal. How about your's?
He's been talking about this for a while. We knew it was coming.
And I'm not just suggesting this for our conflicts over Isreal and Gaza.
I believe that we can find a way to at least communicate again as citizenry in the US if we begin to acknowledge facts and details instead of buzz words.
If we have these issues with terms, let's be descriptive.
We can also agree that we do not have to agree on everything, but we DO have to follow a standard of some form for how ALL people are treated.
The Geneva Convention and other guidance by the UN is at least focused on human rights.
So maybe the answer is that we say, "okay, let's actually sit down and lay out, in detail, our grievances without using loaded words."
Even the word "genocide" has become controversial! Yes, what is happening to Gazans fits the definition of a genocide. Many feel it's justified in war.
Why am I hammering hard on this point regarding Zionism?
Because assumptions are being made that are getting people killed and are causing people to deny an ongoing genocide.
It's also a very visceral example. We all have strong feelings about it.
Text from article " WASHINGTON -- In the many debates over language surrounding the war in Gaza, (begin highlighting) few words are as controversial as "Zionism." (End highlighting). Its original, most basic definition is Jewish nationalism. For many, (begin highlighting)that equates to the right of the Jewish people to have their own state and self-determination in an ancestral homeland after centuries of oppression and ostracism in much of the world. (End highlighting). They view anti-Zionism as a fig leaf for bigotry and antisemitism. (Begin highlighting) For others, Zionism is a form of modern-day colonialism or racist manifest destiny (side note: manifest destiny was always racist) - the attempt to justify the seizure of contested land in the name of God. (End highlighting).
Full text highlighted as full content important for context. What did Zionism come to mean for Jewish peopie - then and now? Zionism to many Jewish people means, essentially, patriotism: a political ideology rooted in the establishment- and, later, promotion - of a refuge for Jews who throughout history had to escape pogroms, then a Holocaust aimed at wiping them out. The Anti-Defamation League defines the concept this way: "Zionism is the movement for the self- determination and statehood for the Jewish people in their ancestral homeland. the land of Israel. The
(Begin highlighting) To Palestinians displaced by ar emerging Israel, Zionism came to symbolize racism and exclusion `rom what they viewed as thein homeland. (End highlighting) Is being anti-Zionist antisemitic? On this question, there is abundant disagreement. Many critics of Israel or Israeli government policy say (begin highlighting) opposing the expansion of the country's control over land claimed by Palestinians is not an anti-Tewish or antisemitic position but one of fairness. Yet many Jews would say denying heir right to an unfettered homeland is indeed antisemitic (end highlighting)
I've said before that our miscommunication is driving divisio. Well, here's a 2024 article by Tracy Wilkinson of the L.A. Times.

I pointed out that Captain Phasma's Armour in the 2015 "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was a fantastic example of fantasy armor that was functional.
I was told that I was just telling people what to think and being overly rigid.
Nowhere did I argue ashthetics or taste.
Whenever we have yet another reminder of the death of facts I'm reminded of a friendship-ending conversation over my pointing out that the armor in 2017's "Wonder Woman" was not realistic at all and would actually cleave the sternums of the Amazons in two if hit hard enough . . .
I can't even remember years when traumatic events happened to me. I have to approximate based on what I remember about the event.
Trauma can create huge gaps in your memory.
Chronic illness is unfair & unrelenting.
I’m facing a threat to my housing which has wrecked my baseline.
I haven’t written in weeks.
I don’t have a working washing machine so I’m covered in hives.
Today multiple things broke on me.
Then I broke. Sorry for the lack of writing. My brain is done.
Everyone: Look! Gas prices are going down! We can finally fill our tanks again!!
Trump: Time to bomb something in the Middle East!!
😡
They should just not do that in general. Unless they actually ARE experts themselves, they should just not.
Even as experts, men should really pause and ask, "Why am I correcting this person? Is it really to be helpful or am I trying t6be condescending?" It's usually the latter.
I love audio books, but I still need the text to follow along frequently to keep things straight. It can get expensive and it's not like there are a lot of "Buy the paperback, get a discount on the audiobook" discount packages. I get both when I can, though.
As someone who is disabled and can no longer work full-time or do manual labor for extended periods, this is absolutely no surprise to me.
The job market is total shit. If you have a background in the medical field or can handle retail, you're okay. The rest of us are screwed.
I love non-fiction!! I just wish I could afford a reader pen so that I could actually read again.
There is no possibility of fulfilling an ethical scientific mission under a eugenicist administration.
I would go so far as to say that it violates ethics to even attempt to do so. These scientists need to go back and check their codes of ethical conduct.
No. The answer is no. You can't fulfill an ethical, scientific mission under an administration that is being run by eugenicists.
Trump's ability lays solely in his capacity to manipulate and coerce while still appealing to his audience.
Cenk Uyger (founder of The Young Turks Network) describes some of what Trump does as AB testing, and this is very appropriate.
And? His lack of a college degree isn't the issue. His inability to apply critical thinking skills or knowledge to real world scenarios IS.
There are people who have graduate degrees who have that same problem. They simply regurgitate word vomit.
A lot of folks who have their Google U degrees have the same issue. They simply regurgitate without understanding.
The degree isn't what matters. The application of knowledge and critical thinking skills is what matters. 2/2
I went to graduate school with people who barely received their MS and had to take certification exams several times to pass. Supervisors weren't even comfortable providing a letter of recommendation.
Sure, they had the education . . . they didn't understand it, though. They just regurgitate. 1/2
Mocking trauma survivors for struggling is such loser sh*t. Mocking vulnerable people for not fitting in is loser sh*t. Scapegoating entire genders, orientations, races, or ethnicities for your life sucking is loser sh*t. Get a life.
Image of original "Votes for Women" sash from Suffragette movement. Sash has small violet stripes at the top and bottom with green stripes the same size inward from the violet stripes. The largest portion of the sash is the center, which is white and has the lettering in violet.
I have a questions for Black women on here.
I am well aware of the racism and exclusion of various groups of women in the original Suffragette movement. I was considering art/crafting with "Votes" changed to "Autonomy" but feel this would be excluding too many women given its history.
Thoughts?
The media hasn't had any integrity for some time . . .
Dinesh D'Souza's work of fiction, "Hillary's America: The Secret History of the Democratic Party," is in the list of $5 movie deals in Fandango at Home listed as a "documentary."
Folks, he's not an historian. He's not a serious person.
