Yeah, for me the annoying thing is needing to get ESPN/Hulu for just a couple games a year.
I can justify the FD subscription in my head as approximately the same price as going to a single game.
The game on Thursday should be on TBS and HBO Max in addition to FD, according to:

I'm in Raleigh and had both the national feed and the FD feed running at the same time last night.
I get the sense that they would have spent to the limit if the right players would have been available at the trade deadline.
So, in short, he's shown he'll spend money to win, or in areas where there's a positive ROI.
None of those positions impact on-ice performance, or really have the potential to make money in-of-themselves, so cutting back the $$ in those areas appeared to make sense to TD.
Conversely, this year was the first year since C-19 that the team didn't spend to the limit on the cap.
That's pretty consistent with my view of him as a Canes fan.
He didn't keep Chuck Kaiton on as the radio-only announcer.
Then he didn't offer John Forslund what JF considered a reasonable contract to do TV PxP, so he left for Seattle.
Now it's Mike and Tripp doing TV which doubles as the radio.

After seeing the schedule announcement, looks like:
- They didn't move the concert at TBL
- The Sens at 3pm is "close enough" for HNIC
- It was right about PIT/PHI on Sat night
- The tvinsider times were bogus placeholders. Why give 3 hours between games when we can squeeze it into 2.5 hours?
Looking at the roster, it looks like they have 24/23 roster slots filled (including PK). Maybe they couldn't move him off IR because there wasn't a roster slot available to him and they'd have to clear that before they could make any roster moves?

Yeah, I saw that you were in the CLT area from your profile, which made me do a double take on the dino. I thought I recognized it.
We lived in CLT area for a while back in the late 90s/00s (south of CLT, north of SC) before moving back to Raleigh in 05.
We also have woodworking in common, and tech.
Is that dino in your profile picture from the museum of life and science in Durham? If so, that's my favorite museum from when my kids were small. I could spend all day at the spinning platter demonstrating orbits.
Looking at thestanleycap.com, it looks like he was recalled from the AHL, but I don't see an entry activating him from the IR. So the "technicality" may be that he wasn't off the IR. Which, if true, is a pretty large oversight.
I mean, it's really "just" 9, right? Since one of them is on the list TWICE.
Also interesting to note that the ESPN schedule has placeholders for games at 2, 5 and 8 - which is different than what the tvinsider page shows (1, 4, 7).

I wouldn't assume that they wouldn't move the concert though. They moved a Billy Joel concert at MSG a few years ago
I lean towards thinking (hoping) it might be BUF/BOS on Saturday because ABC might not want to split the BOS sports market with two teams playing on the same day, and starting the series earlier might give more flexibility for arena overlap between the Bruins and Celtics.
The results look like BUF/BOS OR CAR/OTT as the early game on Sat and the other gets pushed to Sunday.
