Finally nailed down an engine squawk on my 120: a brand new plug out of spec… still want to get 25 hours on her, I’ve got three right now, but I’m thinking some kind of mono tone empiange in black like it’s eating the whole tail, then leaving the rest all faded scruffy moss and lichen spotted

I can live on these, but to honest they went from being made with lard to vegetable oil aboit 15 years ago and are not the same.
Still, a layer of butter and some smoke-fish… food of the gods!

2 nights ago I saw the moon illuminate the mountains across from Auke Bay in this spectacular golden glow. I hadn't seen the moon over Juneau in weeks. I attempted to recreate it with the various markers I have. Kinda giving impressionists style vibes :]

Stoped by my Naknek smoke fish gurus as they were pulling last nights Sockeye catch out of the brine and onto sticks so the fish can dry a bit and get a glaze if you will before going into the smokehouse. Ten fish to a stick so it’s easy to count and keep track how many ;)
