Let me be clear. I love when readers submit news to the newspaper. But this merits a post ... or something. An award, maybe. There was a lot of effort involved.
I just got a news item as an email attachment: a PDF of a scan of a photocopy of a printout of an email to another newspaper.

Reminds me of how I bought a self-help book to address procrastination and time management. That was in 1995. I still haven't read it.
I appreciate Josh's elevation of the term "anti-constitutional," which is different from "unconstitutional." Deciding not to spend appropriations because you don't feel like it isn't some outré theory of the Constitution. It's just an assertion of power, a rejection of constitutionalism altogether.
Note to self: If you're designing a broadsheet newspaper on a laptop, do zoom in every now and then and make sure you haven't accidentally redefined your paragraph style to create an entire page worth of calendar listings as all caps.
