Every so often I get a little sad when I remember that we’ll never know how things are currently panning out for Adrian.

But is it still the case that if you’re not in a car you’ve got to traipse all around the building to get in at what should really be the back door. Plus traipse all the way back round with your messages once you’re finished?

Once overheard staff at Greggs in Edinburgh explaining to US visitors the difference between a sausage roll and a roll & sausage. After some time they decided on the latter to which she then asked “and do you want square sausage or links?” At this point I sadly had to leave to get a train.

But isn’t it annoying that the ticket price is never announced in advance of them going on sale!

I live in Edinburgh. There are 3 seasons; ‘Oooo can’t wait until August’, ‘Hoorah, at last it’s August’ and ‘Oh no, that’s it all over’
