As I'm away for the weekend, this evenings post work time was taken up by a date night with my amazing wife. While great, not much hobby progress, so I'm going to count "packing".

The army is looking ok - happy with what I've finished but there's still quite a bit to go.

T-3

I received my chapter approved deck today so had a wee look through it to prep for the event. Didn't really manage much painting, but there is technically more on the disintegrator than there was yesterday.

T-4

Working on the metals...not a fan. Think I need to find a few guides on a better way to do it, particularly for large models 🤔

T-5

I fancied picking off some long hanging fruit again, so finished a squad of infiltrators.

All the non-metal and glowey bits done & matt varnished and started improving the metals. I still don't really know how to make them look good, so not looking forward to this bit.

Painting more details today before the matt varnish. Probably doesn't look that different in the photos, but progress was made!

Not much time today so decided to go for some low hanging fruit and do the final details on a dunerider and assassin.

Only a little progress today, mostly more transfers and base coating on some details.

-Calling the platform finished
-A couple of base layers on the "manipulus"
-Finished the purple on the disintegrator & started some transfers.

T-12

A little progress on the platform - finished the non-metallics for a matt varnish to blend in the transfers. Also some base coating on servo skulls I’m going to use as haloscreed markers.

I’ve a lot to do on this guy still, but I’ve some of the visable undercarriage done and the purple started.

While I find posting only a little like screaming into the void, I did find it helped me make consistent progress, so I'll give it a shot again for my next event.

T - 14 days

Working on the platform for my Manipulus today.

That looks great! I really love that platform, thats an awesome use for it.

I think a jetbike chariot pulled by cyborg-horse-dogs probably counts as a little weird.

I love the way that's presented in the Belisarus Cawl books - he seems like a nice old professor....apart from all the horrifying experimentation.

I'm certainly stealing those legs for some Ad Mech conversions - infiltrators or skystalkers I think 🤔

Ooooh, I've been trying to find good models to convert into skystalkers - this could be them!

Had a great time at the event Sunday as well - just too busy and tired to post about with the Nottingham to North of Scotland drive.

Round 4 was a win vs Tau
Round 5 was a loss to Worldeaters.

Both games were awesome - my favourite opponents and the games were tight.

Lost round 3, 36-83 vs Custodes.
Didn't wrap my Breachers quite well enough & they're key in that match.
Very nice opponent (everyone has been great).

Won Round 2, 100-48, against Chaos Knights. Unfortunately a very one sided match up in my favour.

Lost round 1 58-100 against Dark Angels, but it was great fun.

...so tomorrow's qctually the event. So time for some practise games in warhammer world!

No toys today, Travelling part way to warhammerworld. Rest of the way and practise ges tomorrow.

A little bit of basing work - enjoying other things before being away from home gaming all weekend.

T-3 days

Bit of taser goad work (...don't think it actually improved anything), a new gun for my dunecrawler and more base work on my electropriests.

Tomorrow's probably my last opportunity to do anything before I start the journey south - probably work on bases.
