Spring has hit NC. Comment with your own signs of spring.
I've been sending out ARC's and got my first review. So excited that someone, (whom I don't know) liked my book.
Having some of my neighbors pumpkin apple loaf and starting work early this morning.
These lovely wispy pinks greeted me on my walk. Love Autumn π
First walk of September
Plant update. Butternut squash is out in force this morning.
I follow you on tiktok, but will probably let it fade away on Sept 13.
Sunflowers from my walk this week. Thankful for a break in the heat.
Quick trip to the beach. Mostly to see the genius kid as she had a conference in Beaufort. She is not a beach person--mountain girl all the way. But we had some great times as soon as she got the sand out of her shoes.
I bought this Carolina Jasmine yesterday. It's not even in the ground yet and already reaching for the trellis. Plants are sentient.
Got my manuscript back from my fabulous editor, so worked a bunch today. But the flowers greeted me on my walk this morning.
Pictures from my week. My glads are coming up! A sure sign of spring. Twisted trees along my walking trail. And my first attempt at braised beef short ribs. Pretty good week overall.
Just sent manuscript for my fantasy sequel to my editor. Big sense of accomplishment. Yay!!
Happy St. Patrick's Day
Early spring walk. Not much green yet, but here in the south, the weather is great for walking. And look at the sweet purple flowers I found. (This is me taking a break from mourning the loss of democracy)
Oh. And Sydney Crosby is my favorite hockey player.
Spring tulips and St Patrick's day runner for my table. I have about 2% Irish DNA, but it counts, right?
I'm American and wholeheartedly disagree with our numbskull president. I'm buying Canadian goods, reading Canadian books and listening to Canadian artists on Spotify.
I stand with you and all of Ukraine. I know that a lot of Americans feel the same. πΊπΈ
With all the ugly invading my socials, I decided to post something light. I'm grateful for the life I have. Enough money to replace brakes on my car and get a milkshake for lunch. Stay positive, friends.
I finished a draft!! Took me longer than expected and it still needs a lot of work, but there's something so satisfying about completion.
My friend and I went to the UK last year. I want to go back.
Wasn't sure what to post as my first posting. Anyone have opinions on this beverage?
