I helped with door knocking in the by-election. The instruction for us all was to listen. We weren't running through a list of policies, but asking what mattered to residents (mostly local issues). But don't let that get in the way of this poor faith attack.

Really sad to see you join in the tired attack line from right wing politicians (and those in labour who ape them for votes). Social justice and climate action are entirely connected. This just comes across as "stay in your lane" - not a great look.

The Representation of the People Bill contains some useful measures, but it must go further – put proportional representation on the statute books, shut loopholes that let dark money in, and modernise media platform oversights to stop misinformation and disinformation.

The choice is stark. Reform are the party of foreign wars and high bills.

The Greens want de-escalation and energy security through renewables. Solar and wind prices don't fluctuate when rogue US presidents launch illegal bombing campaigns.

The leaflets were focused on proving greens were the vote to prevent reform. Doorstep conversations were more local issues and anger at labour/fear of reform. More detailed policy angles featured in the 3 hustings that Hannah took part in.

Legalising and regulating drugs is about reducing the harm and deaths caused by drug use, and treating addicts rather than criminalsing them. It is appalling that Labour and Reform are playing politics with people's lives.

Great point. I can entertain concerns about the content of videos but the complaints of a non English video - would anyone have complained about a video in British Sign Language or Welsh?

First, I’d like to give my apologies for the delay in getting back to you. I've been busy on the ground with Hannah Spencer talking to voters about the issues that matter to them – lowering bills, protecting the NHS and rebuilding our public services. You'll appreciate most of your letter is out of date now, but I'm sure you'll have seen the poll that came out today, that puts us in first place and Reform in second. Labour are a distant third and it’s now clearer than ever that your party cannot win in Gorton and Denton. If you are as concerned about stopping Reform as you proposed in your letter, the course is now clear: in the spirit in which you wrote to me, you should now urge your members and former voters to back Hannah Spencer on the 26th February to stop Reform and make hope normal again.
