While the concern is valid in this day and age, it is incredibly and rude and borderline insulting to have someone slide your DMs and throw this kind of stuff at you without any proper basis.

Especially when it is still pretty easy to differentiate AI slop to real illustrations x')

The point is : to all the people out there who aren't artists, please avoid going into someone's DMs and assume our work is AI generate just because you might not understand what you're seeing.

This leads to the point I want to bring up today :

I've been seeing more and more posts recently calling out randoms throwing baseless accusations of posting AI art at artists who obviously didn't.

Which is obviously an horrifying thing to go through for any artists.

Because of that, a wave of weariness struck the community as a lot of pple - quite rightfully so- don't want to support AI "artists" .

The issue though is that a lot of pple then started over analysing human artworks, calling them fake at the sight of any "incoherence" they might've found.
