WIP - Spider bot pounce animation

Set up dynamic charge placement this evening
Then to show the finished map on the terminal I just place a 3D sprite with a subviewport texture to display the output of the camera. With a little shader and lighting work to complete the look. 4/4
Then above the pocket terminal I have a camera (within a subviewport) looking down over the player with orthogonal projection to remove perspective, and set to only render objects on the map layer. I also added in the Map UI here using basic 3D sprites and labels. 3/4
I do the same for the player and the enemies, just putting boxes below them to represent their position and orientation. I should probably be using sprites for this rather than meshes but it does the job. 2/4
Cheers, sure thing, it's pretty simple. I just have separate meshes below the assets I want to appear on the map, with the basic outline of the walls. These are set to appear on their own layer so the other cameras in-game won't see them. 1/4
