Let me know here if you donate to any of them, so we can track it.
FB is still locking me out, and I won't hear from anyone before evening.

She, too, is being abandoned locally. I can't fix the state's malfeasance, or the feds'.
All I can do is try to raise enough to keep them all alive. Shooting for $3K right now, total; 1/3 of that would be enough until May first, I think.

And finally, my friend Perfecta. I truly do not know what to do. The state stripped all her benefits, illegitimately. She's got two little ones in the household, grandsons. Both have serious medical needs.
SHE has serious medical needs, and also had a heart attack weeks ago.
Cindy still needs at least $630 for her car payments. She can't take care of her niblings [she was made their guardian last year] without a vehicle. She's been left without any help locally, and this needs to change.

Okay, I've got three people who are falling over the edge of the cliff right now.
They all need serious help, and they need it today.
First is Jesse, a hospice patient whose cell phone is his link to the outside world. He needs $50 to keep it on:

Except you and I both know it won't reduce costs, because the system's not set up that way. They'll just hike them on all the so-called "healthy" people.
And he knows that, but he doesn't care, because he prefers monstrousness to humanity.
OH MY GOD
RFK Jr. is a monster. An entirely self-designed, self-created, deliberate, intentional, WILLING monster.
And he needs to go.
Last night, after an hours-long public hearing, Monterey Park became the first city in California to pass an ordinance permanently banning data centers.
The city council voted unanimously to declare data centers a public nuisance, and to "prohibit all data centers within city limits."
My story:
Genocide is a policy carried out by the hands of many, tolerated by many more.

You know who else famously used paid informants to infiltrate extremist groups?
The Justice Department.
"Becoming"?
Oh, honey . . . .
I kinda feel attacked by this description.
"Refurbished old girl" seems all too applicable. Maybe even not so "refurbished" these days, just "old girl." 🤣
And if you make me do it before I've had my coffee?
Yeah, best believe it ain't gonna go well.
I had to read someone the riot act this morning, and I believe it or not, I don't actually like doing that.
I'd much rather people all behave like adults and we can all just get on with the work of trying to help each other.
But sometimes that's not possible.
Some people are on my last nerve.
Our local group has local people who are barely hanging on by their broken fingernails. Those are the people our spare scratch goes to.
But the way some others show up, knowing no one and waving their entitlement around like a semaphore.
Good lord, I need one of these.
Just a single teeny-tiny fuck.
I have some folks offline here that I'd like to wave it at this morning.
[No dibs. I can't afford it, but it's a fantastic deal for someone who can.]
❤️
Oh my goodness.
No help. The state stripped all her benefits. Fighting for them is damaging her health.
Right now, their multi-generational household [2 little ones] just needs to survive. She won't tell you, but I will: Minimum $3K.

The other is Perfecta, who last I knew is STILL out of town at the hospital with the grandbaby. The last year has nearly killed her, and I mean that literally; a heart attack a few months ago.
Every time she plugs one leak, at least three more erupt.
Last I knew, she needed $700, and had raised 10% of that [$70]. But I know expenses are still piling up.
10 ppl, $70 each, she has an extra 10% as breathing room.

First, Cindy, who stepped up to serve as guardian to her little niblings a year ago. She's disabled. The kids came to her sick. LOTS of expense. A landlord who won't repair the house.
She's had to spend so much on basic stuff, she's behind on her car payment.
Lately I've been getting some odd requests, and some very bold ones, and some entitled-acting ones, too.
We're not doing any of those tonight [or for a while, LOL].
Tonight, it's two of our most humble members, both in a really bad way.
Now, tonight's local urgent needs.
First, thank you to everyone who helped raise the funds to transport Tina home from the hospital to be with her loved ones for her final days.
I am personally grateful to you all.
And even in the best of years, we need to make the equivalent of at least one sale a week to break even. The last two years have been as far from that as it gets.
And we're still six weeks behind on the rate we need to maintain.
