4/7 ECPM rappelle que la peine de mort est inefficace en toutes circonstances et perpétue les cycles de violence. Elle ne permet aucunement de s’attaquer aux causes profondes des violences basées sur le genre, de la culture du viol et aux obstacles à l’accès effectif des victimes à la justice.
