Finally our Gala Concert with compère, Rebecca John of BBC Wales Today. It’s a thrill to perform with Affinity. Hearing the voices of all 12 choirs was amazing. Shoutout to Gracenotes who I chaperoned throughout the day. It was also a pleasure to speak to Cllr Huw David about the festival.
Over 300 women from 12 choirs across South Wales participated in workshops from Jessica Robinson, David Fortey and Jane Coles. Every choir performed in the atrium throughout the day. We came together as mass choir, conducted by Jeff Howard and accompanied by Stephanie Todd, to sing 3 numbers.
Yesterday was the 1st Festival of Female Voices. Thanks to Diane Morgan-Wright and the organisers. I loved being on the day team.
This ended up being quite the side quest. I was on BBC Radio Wales Breakfast with Oliver Hides talking about the Festival alongside Alice (available on BBC Sounds 😉).

Currently lacking any creativity but didn’t like the empty wall. So here I am being very excited at visiting the Neus and Pergamon museums!
