Covered Battle for Eire Sign
Sorta poetic that the sticker covering the Battle for Eire sign is just now starting to crack and peel. Going to be SO nice to have a proper, non-coaster, indoor attraction back at Busch Gardens Williamsburg next season!

Another round of Verbolten: Forbidden Turn documents has revealed EVEN MORE incredibly exciting details regarding Busch Gardens Williamsburg's 2026 attraction project! Check out our new article for all the details! There's another little '27 teaser in there too. 🤫

American Flag Over Scotland
Someone at Busch Gardens Williamsburg is going to need to explain why is an American flag is flying over Heatherdowns, Scotland. No idea why a flag pole was installed here at all, but flying an American flag in a BGW hamlet is an instant, inexcusable, obvious "no."
The teaser video really gave me a lot of confidence that there are folks behind this update that REALLY understand the coaster and what people loved about the original theme. Seeing these plans still blew my mind though. It's so much more than I could have asked for!
Yep! You're correct! Meant to identify it as one of the first, not the very first. Article has been updated with a correction appended to the end. Thanks for catching it!
Feel like it's far above and beyond anything anyone was expecting. Animatronics? At my BGW?! In 2026?!
BREAKING: New documents reveal BGW's *INSANELY EXTENSIVE* Verbolten: Forbidden Turn retheme plans! HUGE 3D set pieces, animatronics, extensive lighting upgrades, and more! Oh, and there's some '27 stuff in there too. Whoops....

Something I always ABSOLUTELY LOVE to see: Tiny, atmospheric, historically/culturally accurate, hamlet-theme-appropriate #BuschGardensWilliamsburg Christmas Town additions. Check out this super cool, new Lucia of Syracuse roaming character/meet and greet/photo op in San Marco! 😍 LOVE!
Yeah, but that's the best that can be hoped for really. Park-level leadership has so little control, the best we can ask for is that they're advocating for things we want to see—and it seems like they are.
- There are a couple current rides on the "target list" that could be replaced/reimagined in the years ahead
- Concepts have been drawn up for the Mäch Tower site, but nothing slated immediately
- Pantheon theming could be a future opportunity
- Will have plans to celebrate upcoming Das Festhaus and Killarney anniversaries
- Ideas being kicked around for Pet Shenanigans theater—not imminent but new animal shows are on the ideas list
- Developing new system for speeding up parking booth situation—work has already been done, but no imminent plans
- Nothing new for Water Country USA to announce immediately
- Pushing for something new in Da Vinci's Garden, but nothing at the moment
Tidbits from the Q&A, a 🧵:
- Playing with ideas for a member lounge but no immediate plans
- Want to depreciate the kiosks by putting vouchers in the app
- New flat rides are desired by park-level leadership
- There are exciting 2027 plans
- "little bit of time" for a new coaster

Coaster will go down following Christmas Town for the retheme!

Verbolten: Forbidden Turn is coming in 2026! Never before seen (here) effects, completely reimagined theming, and the tour company is under new management!
New Summer 2026 Shows
Two new Summer 2026 shows are "Across the Pond! Legends of the UK" which sounds like a British music show. Big news though: BGW is bringing back a major nighttime spectacular show next year with "Kinetix: A New Generation!" Love to see the return of Kinetix! 😍
Christmas Town LIVE Announcement
New Das Festhaus show for Christmas Town this year: Christmas Town LIVE! Debuting next weekend (Nov. 14th)
Kevin Lembke On Stage
Kevin Lembke is on stage! We'll share anything newsworthy as it happens!
Just want to make sure people's expectations are properly calibrated for tomorrow. Rumors this summer indicated that the "Italian Le Mans" plans were shelved. Instead, another rumored project we wrote about back in the spring has been fast-tracked: a Verbolten thematic upgrade. Expect that tomorrow.
Look at all of these choo choo ornaments available @bgwfans.com 🤩
Yeah, the AI imagery usage is just so painfully cringe. It's also astonishing just how poorly executed it has been. I understand the desire to produce quick, easy, and cheap visuals for a survey like this, but it could have been executed far better. Would like to see the AI use disclaimed as well.
#BuschGardensWilliamsburg is back at it again! Last Friday the park distributed a survey containing five ADDITIONAL future attraction concepts—including two of the pitches we leaked the existence of back in our early May "Whispers" article! What's BGW cooking? Link: bgwfans.com/2025/survey-...
A screenshot from the Le Mans sequel (along with two of the others you didn't get) are in this post if you're curious: parkfans.net/threads/park...
The next major coaster Busch Gardens Williamsburg builds should be a flying coaster of some sort so we can codename the project "Drachen Flier."
I'd prefer Corkscrew, but I think Questor may have fewer rights issues to work through.
Yesterday Busch Gardens Williamsburg sent out surveys containing at least SEVEN different potential future attraction proposals! What are they? What are our (unsolicited) thoughts on each? Find out at the link below! bgwfans.com/2025/surveys...
I got the thing @bgwfans.com. #27, it looked like they had maybe a dozen left

The red light from the eyes on the train's zero car and the lighting in the village looks so, so good. Could this be BGW's new best night ride...?
