I recently learned that one of my favorite people, an amazing young man, who was an advocate and researcher, who had been living with HIV passed away this year. He was a good friend, and a sweet and kind person. 3/4🧵

I once cared for a baby who died from pertussis, a tragedy I’ll never forget. The family was pro-vaccine, but the baby was too young for their first dose, and Tdap during pregnancy wasn’t routine. Vaccine decisions aren’t just personal—they profoundly impact the most vulnerable among us.
