What pisses me off the most about Draft2Digital's charging for accounts/maintenance fees is that I learned about it from Reddit. Not because D2D sent me an email to tell me.

That left such a bad taste in my mouth I pulled all my books from D2D.

I took my books down yesterday and I don't know what it said prior to that. Maybe because I have no books listed anymore I get this message? Which is REALLY sneaky, because people won't know to delete their books to avoid the fee and keep the account.

So interesting, because mine has a whole other paragraph.

D2D does say on my Account Status page that "If you do not want to pay your annual account maintenance fee, you may unpublish your books to delist them from distribution. Accounts with no titles in distribution (no active request to list at stores) are not subject to the maintenance fee."

So I'm actually really enjoying how Libre Office Writer does epubs. Granted, I need to add all the headers because it won't export them, but still. A bit cleaner than Word.

Using LibreWriter for the first time to do a client book layout. Originally done in Word. I can't figure out how to make the first few pages Page Style 1 and the rest Page Style 2 so I can properly page number. I want to die.

I planted peas, radishes and spinach today. I have tomatoes and bunching onions started inside. I probably need more soil. This is my first year filling my boxes and it's never-ending! It rains, they need more soil. I used 4 yards to fill 6 8x3' boxes and still need more.
