Me: omw [autocorrect: On my way!]

This happens so fast I usually end up sending this before I can delete, and everyone must think I’m weirdly enthusiastic about coming to see what’s broken on their computer.

"Digital displays and printing led to the use an additional unit:
1 twip = 1⁄20 point = 1⁄1440 inch = 127⁄7200 mm = 0.017 638 mm."

If I have to know "twip" is a unit, now so do you.

Typographic unit - Wikipedia

Reading wikipedia for "Typegraphic unit" I got to

"However, the American Point System standardized finally in 1886 is different from Hawks' original idea... MS&J defined that 83 Picas are equal to 35 centimeters."

Or maybe it's natively using points or some other small unit? Basically I think "My settings are off by 2 points" or "off by 1mm" may trigger someone's memory differently from "off by 0.02-3 inches"

If you're using A4 paper, can you switch these units to mm just to see what it says? I think you may be operating with 7.5mm margins and it's off by 1mm which may be an easier thing for someone to understand. I don't think I'll understand it but someone else may only recognize it in metric?

Hmmm - a playthrough script could be automated and run through at 10x speed or something. If I’m bored I may try that.

Sports’ biggest dummies in 2008 As we say each year at this time, television has its Emmys, music has its Grammys and sports has its dummies. There were the obvious ones this year: John Daly, O.J. Simpson, Pacman Jones, Terrell Owen...

Reminds me of “Tyson Homosexual”.
