oh, thank you love.They are nice,I got them from Oka just as a placeholder until I thought properly about it - and that was 4 years ago nearly😆. I've since had the dark sofa, and moved the (black) standard lamp over there, as a better spot for it, so I think it needs something to lighten the space

Having examined both on Pimlico Rd, the finish on SC&JF feels not only less prone to scratching but somehow less like the scratches would ruin it - they feel like signs of wear could be just part of the patina, rather than the highly pristine lacquer company

colefax ones are just right size ( and for that price will fully customise) but of course don’t have the lower shelf. Lacquer ones are divine, but I’d be worried about scratches. Which would niggle me as I sat there staring at them.

I will have to investigate- though as I say, I do like a lower shelf ( and diameter would be a consideration as the space between sofa and door isn’t generous )
