Honestly, it might be impossible to fully state just how much influence Corman had in shaping Hollywood for decades. The man lived to be 98 and helped a lot of people who would go on to be A listers get their start, so hays off to Roger for that.

Mortal Kombat Annihilation - I actually liked this one more than the original and it's bad CG actually scared and fascinated me as a kid and the plethora of cut scenes that I now kinda wish were still around have crossed my mind plenty
Resident Evil the movie (the first one) - while ostensibly just an excuse for the director to put his wife in cool action movies I actually kinda enjoy the popcorn flick ass action these movies have and the weird lore deviations don't bother me nearly as much knowing just how much crack cocaine the ACTUAL RE storyline has infused into it...also may have had babies first lesbo crush on Milla Jovovich <3

He got so mad he decided to find a loophole in his contract and get decades of petty revenge. Every couple of decades, he makes a no-budget 20-some minute tv special where he complains to Leonard Maltin while wearing his old costume, and releases it unannounced in the middle of the night on TCM. This week, at 85 years old, he premiered his new one, called Dick Tracy Zooms In. He didn't even have to show up on set. However, he has gone to court to make sure that they legally count as sequels, and thus renew his rights to the character. He does this solely so that no one else can legally use the character for anything.
