Fine win for @somersetccc.bsky.social over @durhamcricket.bsky.social this evening.

Great innings from young Thomas Rew.

Nice night for it as well.

Bonkers football match. By no means the best performance of the season, but they dragged out a point.

Highlight ? Talking to three @Official_STFC legends.

@bryanwade85 from the 85/86 championship side and Joe Butler and Don Rogers from that 1969 cup winning team.

Trig point number 28 ticked off. A very pleasant circular walk to Bellever Tor with great views across Dartmoor.

The trig is conveniently situated on top of the Tor. Just 189 to go in Devon. Getting there slowly.

So it’s the simple things that give you the most pleasure. In a world where people think they can say and do what they think, things like this bring solace.

An afternoon watching @OfficialECFC against @BlackpoolFC.

A win for the visitors 3-1.

A short journey home for once.

How enjoyable is that ? An away win on a Friday night.

Terrific three points. That’s cheered the weekend up. #COYR

Not the prettiest of games, but that matters not.

Three points in the bag and a clean sheet.

That’s the important thing.

A bumper start to Trig point year. 5 in total today, taking the total spotted in Devon to 27 out of 217.
All of today’s were around Torbay, giving some rather splendid views of the area.
One or two were really difficult to see, especially one, Petit tor, leading to a muddy fall.

A McGoldrick masterclass and a tired Swindon display against one of the top teams.

In truth never threatened Notts who look a really good team with one very special player. No defensive midfielder to cope with him.

Still a nice walk along the Trent before the game.
