If there really was a God, this heathen would have been struck by lightning multiple times at this point.
BuzzFeed headlines are always like, “173 Tweets From The Last 15 Minutes That Were So Hysterically Funny & Insanely Relatable That I Literally Peed Myself Right There On The Spot & Then My Boss Made Me Scrub The Floor & Personally Apologize To Each & Every One Of My Co-Workers.”

The 4K remaster of the “Private Dancer” video has been uploaded to YouTube, and great googly-moogly does it look incredible. Like it was filmed just yesterday.

The 40th anniversary SDE of the #TinaTurner album #PrivateDancer will be released in three days. One of my favorite tracks on the album, is the Paul Brady-penned “Steel Claw.” Here’s Tina performing it at an unknown date and location in 1985. #TinaTuesday
Age yourself with a cartoon you watched as a kid.
I am working out of a public library and there are a good number of people who seem to be on hard times using the facilities for various reasons like job searching, entertainment, charging peripherals, using the bathroom, etc., and I am struck by how important it is that libraries continue to exist
Looks more like a *ruff* Saturday.
Sorry, I’ll show myself out now….
Post your most daddy pic
She formed a new band with Peter Green, Danny Kirwan, and Bob Welch.
After those two incidents (the one you mentioned @joea64.bsky.social and the “Rhiannon” tantrum), Stevie decided she just couldn’t be part of Lindsey’s darkness anymore (can’t say I blame her!). She wanted to leave the band, but management intervened and it was decided to fire Lindsey instead. 2/2
That was the partial last-straw. Buckingham also threw a huge hissy backstage because MusiCares played “Rhiannon” while introducing the band. He later said he didn’t feel it was “representative“ of the band (something tells me he wouldn’t have balked if they’d played one of his songs). 1/2
Finally got a haircut after three months of trying to grow it out. My gay powers have been restored.
Today is #InternationalWomensDay. Here’s to all women everywhere — from our family, friends and neighbors, to our political leaders — who have shaped our world through their strength, intelligence, perseverance, and grace. Thank you.
I thought you only go broke if you go woke? 🤷🏻♂️
And then there’s this cover — of Al Green’s “Let’s Stay Together” — which launched Tina’s comeback in the 1980s, and sent her soaring up the charts around the world (including being the #1 selling 12” single in the U.S. for 1984).

Arguably Tina’s best and most well-known cover, her “Proud Mary” even knocked the socks off its songwriter, John Fogerty, who credited her with “shooting my song into the stratosphere.”

You can’t start a fire without a spark — and Tina’s putting off some serious sparks with this performance of Springsteen’s “Dancing In The Dark.”

Tina’s incendiary performance of Bowie’s “Cat People.” Putting out fire with gasoline, indeed.

#TinaTurner will make you say, “ZZ who?,” when you hear her electric rendition of “Legs.” The woman had ‘em, and she sure knew how to use ‘em.
