The same gap - covered with plasterboard and a new piece of plywood running almost all the way to the roof

My new radiator is going onto this wall to free up my big wall for a new massive pantry project.

BUT - it’s fecking heavy!!

So last night after my ladies had plumbed in everything I whacked up some plasterboard and a half sheet of ply to support it all!

Not pretty work - but we will be warm!

Not my country! Knife crime is down 64% over the last decade and last year we had no unsolved murders … meanwhile we watched ICE execute two citizens live and …. NADA!!!

M’eh …..

Still it cost nothing and with a squirt of foam, some tape and finish it’ll do as it’s getting covered over by tongue and groove.

Cost - nothing as I scrounged the plasterboard

The Epstein files really show us that we've been underestimating how much men hate women and children.

So, decided that I want a painted tongue & groove splash back in my “new to me” kitchen

To buy the paintable MDF it’s going to be £253 + shipping!

So local builders merchant is delivering two sheets for £28.80 and I have borrowed a V shaped router bit to make the grooves myself!

Tight! Moi?

Horrid orange pine finished table and chair set - all scuffed and scraped

Horrid orange pine finished table and chair set - all scuffed and scraped

This is the plan for my kitchen table in my “new to me” kitchen … but the price!!

So instead I’ve picked this up for free on FB Marketplace and already have sanding paper, stripper an primer in stock.

Reckon I will save myself about £1470….

I just want to match the edges - very nice banded ply. I have a 1000 mm unit that I can take the sides off and cut down the horizontals and rebuild - not a big job and it will match and be the same height too xx
